FAQs

  • Step One: AN IDEA IS BORN - Reach out to us and let us know as specifically as possible your goals, timeline, budget and your intended audience.

Step Two: WE MEET - We use the info you’ve provided to meet with you (digitally) and collaborate on a game plan for production, factor in any extra details and clarify the scope of work and any remaining details.

Step Three: SIGNATURES - Once we’re all on the same page, we formalize the agreement and get to work!

Step Four: PRE-PRODUCTION - Here we work with you to plan scheduling, logistics and everything else needed before production starts.

Step Five: PRODUCTION - This is where North Brothers starts to build the tangible pieces of your vision. We capture all of the footage and audio needed for the final product.

Step Six: POST-PRODUCTION - Now that all of the pieces have been collected, we assemble it into your video! This process typically includes revisions and the final product is delivered through a secure, cloud based service.

  • Not at all! We love being a part of the creative process and are more than happy to use our expertise and experience to help develop your ideas.

  • The reality is that there are many things that factor into to cost of video production. To name a few, we have to consider how much planing and writing will be involved, what we’ll require for crew, equipment and location as well as what will be involved in the post production process. That doesn’t mean we can’t give you some idea, though. Video projects usually start at about $2,500 but we find the majority of our work falls between $3,000 and $7,500.

  • For our projects, we require 40% down before the film date. This generally is used to offset the cost of crew, equipment, location and other production expenses. The remaining 60% is only due when you’re completely satisfied with the final product.

  • Every one of our projects include up to 2 revisions at no added cost. Any additional revisions are subject to an hourly rate.

  • We use a program called Frame.io to make the post production and revision process as easy and user friendly as possible. The first time we work with a new client, we’ll send a one minute tutorial that explains everything you could want to know about using it. It’s as simple as pausing the video and writing your feedback in the comment box. Frame.io will automatically timestamp the feedback so our editors will know precisely what you mean!

  • This can vary greatly depending on the scope of your project. Most often you’ll have a first draft of your project within 3 weeks of the film date and with timely feedback, we often have the final version delivered within a week of the first draft.
